Interesting decor in beautiful old building, warmly greeted. We sat in the front section of the restaurant closes to the High Street. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We ate from the set lunch menu with a choice of 3 starters, mains and 2 desserts, a beef, fish and veggie option. 3 chose fish cake, delish followed by substantial pollock rosti chips and peas, very tasty and 1 burger with all the trimmings. To finish Ice creams and figs yummy. All excellent as always Thank you

Fantastic food and fantastic service. Small rooms are a bit loud when crowded, but that can’t be helped.

We had not visited Chit Chaat since it first opened. We are glad we went back. Everything was so much tastier and better. The service was excellent too. Highly recommend the Amritsari Kulcha, chicken biryani and whole samosa chaat. Although everything we ate was delicious and I had a nice spicy margarita too.
