This was our 4th visit to the Oak and, as always, it was superb. The food was delicious, the service prompt and very friendly and the ambience in the garden room lovely. We would highly recommend it and will be back soon!

Thank you to everyone at the Kings Head. The food is perfect. I had one of, if not the best steak I've ever had. The place is so clean, spotless crockery and such a lovely happy team. Very highly recommended.

The truffle gnocchi is the best pasta ve ever had. The service was outstanding, attentive, communicative, knowledgeable, personable. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect, I can honestly say this restaurant is an absolute gem of The Midlands.

Excellent variety of flavours from the small plates, with perfectly cooked steak to share. Ideal for a social dinner with friends, and good value/quality wines also.

I took two friends along this time so they could understand why I go so often and they definitely got it 🤤 I got 2 starters (squab pigeon & pork pie + courgette side) & the gougère snack whilst I awaited their arrival. They had a main each and raved how good the quality of the food & presentation were e.g. the lightness of the batter on the fish & chips or the perfectly cooked lemon/seaweed-stuffed fish!! Only issues were: *there was a lag between me getting my starters and them getting their mains because I think we didn't emphasise they should arrive simultaneously 🤦🏽‍♂️ *more curry sauce, especially for a person who went to uni in Manchester 🤪 The kitchen whipped up another serving in <5mins. We just made it to Thirsty for the England vs Norway game 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️🏟️ The "sharing" bread is large enough it must be shared but even a half portion is ALL mine 😈 As ever, the white Malbec is fantastic with pretty much anything 😎
