El Café Momentum es un restaurante sin fines de lucro que ofrece pasantías remuneradas a los delincuentes juveniles recién salidos de prisión. Tras su liberación, los jóvenes gozan de la protección que les ofrece el programa postpenitenciario del Café Momemtum. El programa del Café Momentum transmite a los jóvenes habilidades esenciales que le permiten reintegrarse a la sociedad en un entorno real y seguro de manera responsable. Al participar en el programa, estos jóvenes en situación de riesgo desempeñan diferentes funciones en el restaurante, que van desde servir a los clientes hasta lavar los platos, mientras trabajan junto a los chefs de la casa. Esta pasantía remunerada les da la oportunidad de poner en práctica sus nuevas habilidades y de desarrollar su liderazgo y sus capacidades sociales y profesionales durante todo el tiempo que quieran comprometerse con el Café Momentum. Además, el Café Momentum trabaja con el Departamento de Justicia Juvenil del condado de Dallas para atender a los jóvenes que corren el mayor riesgo de encarcelamiento.
