Known for their award winning craft cocktails, scratch made food & hidden gem of a back patio, Savoy Taproom is an approachable, upscale bar and restaurant located on Lark Street in the heart of Albany’s Center Square neighborhood. First established in 1936, the storied and historic Savoy reopened in early 2016. Their American gastropub food menu features a variety of pub fare favorites and exquisitely prepared entrees including a wealth of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Starting April 1st, The kitchen is open Monday through Friday from 5pm to 11pm, and Saturday and Sunday noon to 11pm. The restaurant has two outdoor patios and a private dining room.

    The food was amazing. We enjoyed the big open spaces. We were at a table for two in a separate area than the beer hall part. It was nice and relaxing. Our food came out really quick and was delicious. I got the happy hour pizza and beer and we shared garlic parm wings. They were nice and crispy. It does get really busy on certain nights and the servers get overwhelmed. Our server handled the pressure with grace and ease. We will keep this place in mind when attending shows again in Albany.

    This was our first time at Emery’s Garden in Troy, NY., and it was a terrific experience. The wait staff were attentive and explain what was available. Unfortunately the zero alcohol stout beer was unavailable. However, the pizza and salad were very tasty. The chocolate mousse dessert is definitely a keeper. The only issue we had was the noise level. It was tough to have a conversation until close to 9:00pm when a lot of the patrons had left. Overall well worth choosing Emery’s Garden.

    This was our first time at the TapRoom. The dining room was very nice, Mei was very nice, very attentive. The atmosphere was nice and the price for our meal was good.
