Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only. Also available to book out for events.

    We went for dinner last night after seeing the social media post advertising their first ever small plates night. When I tell you this is one of the best dinners (especially for the value) that we have had in a long time … it was fantastic. Every portion was different in size but priced appropriately. The variety and size of the menu was perfect. And the 25% off wine was a perfect pairing as a bottle is def what went well alongside all of the food. This needs to be a quarterly night, or even more often. We would be sure to have a reservation every single time !!!!

    Amazing! My husband and I have been twice now, and both times it is just an amazing experience. The food is fantastic and the ambiance can't be beat. We will definitely be back!

    For a hospital hotel restaurant it is about what can be expected. The server, Laura, was so good, we came back a second night.
