    Having not visited chapter 1 for nearly 6 years we booked for lunch and were very happy with the welcome and the ambience of the restaurant. The lunch menu Hamhock venison and lemon posset were uniformly excellent and the service provided by our waiter with advice on the wine, et cetera was exemplary and greatly added to the enjoyment of our meal. The level of food was exceptional and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended and very good value.

    Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the views were incredible, and the service was warm and professional. A lovely place to enjoy a memorable meal.

    The staff on both visits were extremely helpful and friendly, we returned 2 days after our first trip and will be back for more Food was lovely and good generous portions This will be a regular eatery on our London trips

    Lovely roast dinner, just a bit odd that we had to pay our bill before our main course arrived 🤷🏼‍♂️ probably would’ve had dessert otherwise.
