    Beautiful restaurant with very helpful staff, sorry I didn't catch your name but thank you for showing us how to tackle a lobster! We started with the prawns on toast which was delicious and then had a combination of 1/2 a lobster and lobster roll. I had the creme brulee which was so light and delicious.

    We had an absolutely delightful evening at the Velvet Crab. The food was delicious - there is something oddly liberating about devouring a steaming platter of seafood with gloves and an apron. The sauces and spices were perfectly balanced and everything was scrumptious. Our host Kiki was fabulous - so friendly and professional we didn’t want to leave.

    A new chef has revitalised the menu and it’s now truly excellent! The owners are friendly and the rest of staff cheerful and attentive. We sat outside on a beautiful summer’s day with a view of the beach and sea. Wonderful venue for lunch with friends!

    Mussels were really nice. Staff were approachable and helpful. We will be returning. We particularly enjoyed the atmosphere sitting outside within the Lanes.
