We would rate this place higher than any of the popular Italian restaurants in Southeast Michigan. We had 5 different pasta dishes in our group of 7 and all were outstanding - perfect al dente pasta, all homemade, interesting preparations, and on par with the best we have had on recent trips to Taormina and Amalfi.

We loved the food. The service was excellent and we really like the hotel ask for a table on the terrace.

Funistrada always delivers! Best food consistently every time. We book months in advance to be sure we can dine there several times during our vacation. Homemade Caesar salad is very good( add anchovies). Pasta is perfectly cooked and sauce is fresh and tastes like moms. Veal and chicken entrees are all outstanding. If you pass on dessert ( very hard to do), across the street is Laker Shakes and they have Moomers ice cream!!!

Great service by Pipre, food was excellent. I had the chicken piccata and mein frau the bolognese. The brussell sprouts appetizer was delicious. A bit noisy but not overbearing. Price/Value was well worth the experience.
