Chef Christina Nguyen and her partner, Birk Grudem started Hola Arepa as a food truck in 2011 and opened this brick and mortar location three years later. They wanted to bring home the flavors and vibes they experienced on their travels through small beach towns in South America, Central America and Mexico.
