Pietro Gianni and Stephen Peterson, two of the owners behind Storico Vino, plan to open Italian restaurant Yeppa and Co. Yeppa, named for a verbal exclamation expressing joy and excitement, will serve a menu of dishes influenced by the coastal city of Rimini in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy along the Adriatic Sea. Look for plates of cured meats and cheeses, grilled skewers, seafood dishes with fish from the Adriatic, paninis and piadina romagnola (Italian flatbread sandwich) as well as hearty pasta dishes, like lasagne alla bolognese and tortelli filled with meat, vegetables, and cheese. Expect pizzas as well as focaccia on the menu, too.
