Great place.. food and service is always good. One of our favorite places to dine.

Everyone from our initial encounter at the host stand to our server were great! The food was phenomenal and reasonably priced for the area. We will definitely be back.

Tartare is small French restaurant in Pinehurst, NC with excellent food and service. Seating is limited with essentially no turnover so reservations are highly recommended. They offer a price fixed menu and a la carte options. The classic and Argentinian tartares were sizeable and quite flavorful, the escargot very tender and garlicky, the beef wellington had a buttery and flaky puff pastry, flavorful and moist fillet mignon surrounded by duxelles that had a deep and nutty mushroom flavor. The chocolate gateau ganache was very rich. At the end of the evening, Chef George played the violin.

One of my favorite places :) Great food, music and staff!

Perfect spot for a large group. Food was great and service was awesome. We all loved the restaurant and some of us returned that evening for the live music!!
