Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. Run by chef proprietor, Simon Hulstone and his wife Katy. Food is cooked by a talented team of chefs and served by friendly, professional team of staff.Due to the style of cooking we cannot produce dairy free menus & therefore cannot provide vegan options.A deposit is required to make reservations on special days of the year, on our special events, or for tables of 6 or more. Pho Exeter is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in phở, the Vietnamese noodle soup and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles, and fresh salads too. Our starters such as summer rolls and spring rolls are perfect for sharing with friends and family. We also offer an entirely gluten free dessert menu with dishes like Pandan waffles, condensed milk ice cream and a Vietnamese affogato. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular dietary restrictions. We are also accredited by Coeliac UK. Aside from our lovely food we offer a brilliant range of healthy juices, as well as delicious wine and beer, and a fantastic cocktail menu too.     FOOD WAS AMAZING! Recommend the Cod fillet and the Sirlion Service was fast and friendly Decor was stylish and spacious Highly recommend including Roof top bar for cocktails after. ****4 Star!

    We had a fantastic meal at Pho Exeter, King our waitress was wonderful, she advised on the different dishes and was very efficient at her job. We chatted at the end of the meal about her aspirations after uni & we thought she was such a pleasure to deal with, she’s an asset to any establishment and will clearly go far in life!

    Genuinely some of the best food I’ve had in ages—it completely blew me away. The kitchen has a massive focus on incredible local ingredients and fresh seafood, and it shows in every dish. The flavours were perfectly balanced and everything felt sophisticated without being pretentious. Unbelievably good.
