Leonard Wilfred Davies, born 19 December 1906, started a butcher's dynasty now four generations old. Our starters such as summer rolls and spring rolls are perfect for sharing with friends and family. We also offer an entirely gluten free dessert menu with dishes like Pandan waffles, condensed milk ice cream and a Vietnamese affogato. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular dietary restrictions.     A lovely meal overlooking the river and Ludlow. Great quality cooking and service. We use the Charlton Arms for our ‘special’ meals out for birthdays and anniversaries and has never failed to disappoint. Rooms look good too but as we live locally we haven’t stayed. A great place to base yourself if you want to explore Ludlow, Shropshire and Welsh borders.

    This is the best place for curry in Shrewsbury! The food is incredible, the staff attentive, and the price is very good. Will be a regular diner here for a long time.
