Parties over 6 people may be booked by calling the restaurant to see if we have availability. **We accept reservations for INSIDE DINING ONLY. Reservation made with patio requests do not guarantee an outdoor table will be available upon arrival and may require an additional wait time. **Due to limited seating availability there is a 2 hour time limit on all reservation.**Large Party Holiday Reservation Policy: On major holidays, reservations for parties of more than six guests will require a valid credit card to secure the booking. If a reservation is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled reservation time, or in the event of a no-show, a cancellation fee of $20 per guest will be charged to the credit card on file. Welcome to Murphy's Taproom & Carriage House, in Bedford, New Hampshire. You're invited to try the creative cuisine of Executive Chef Todd Lytle and his team, from Lamb Osso Buco to Waygu Shepherd's Pie. Our Bistro Filet is a local favorite. All of our ingredients are brought in fresh, and many are sourced from local farms. Even the honey for our Hot Honey Salmon comes from a beekeeper in nearby Derry. Besides our large outdoor patio, our restaurant features several private dining rooms for your special occasions, as well as our 300-seat Carriage House. We have 32 craft beers on draft, a wide selection of bourbons and scotches, and a seasonally-rotating cocktail menu.     Food is pricey (but what isn't these days?) but good. Fries are amazing, as is the steak and cheese as is the Reuben (traditional and turkey). Great service!

    Great menu — very well prepared steak, with brown crust and slight 3rd color center! Outstanding service by ex-San Ysidro Ranch waiter — and not too busy! 5* all around!

    What a nice surprise. We were visiting from out of state. There was my mom of 94 and my three sisters, my husband and myself. We asked AI for a family type restaurant that was not a chain with great food. Murphys popped up first. AI was right on! We all commented that the wait staff was so attentive and caring. The food was great. Each of us loved our choice. There were so many choices on the menu. We each ordered something different. There was soft guitar live music playing until around 8 pm. So very nice. We were eating in the outside patio that had some soft lighting. Wonderful experience! Oh and the seniors received a 25% discount. I thought that was so kind in this economy. On the menu it states this and they honored it right away! Impressive!
