We were in Charleston for our honeymoon and decided to try the Oaks for a special dinner. Everything was perfect from the rolls to our appetizers of scallops and a wedge salad. My husband had the Kansas City strip steak with some wonderful cream spinach and I had the beef Wellington, which essentially melted in my mouth. Topped it off later with dessert at home with a piece of their chocolate cake. It was simply amazing. service was fantastic. Our waiter was energetic and knowledgeable. All around a memorable experience for us.

Great food, attentive and friendly staff, wonderful ambience, a very pleasant dining experience. This restaurant is not large, but it is cozy. I liked the relaxing background music, and even though the restaurant is cozy, it was not, in my mind crowded. The tables are placed strategically to make it feel like you are the only one in the restaurant. Wine list is quite extensive, so you’ll probably find a wine you’d like to accompany your meal. The server, Rebecca, found out this is our 50th anniversary year and we were treated to our desserts on the house! Very special and thoughtful! (and delicious).

I love the relaxed feel of this place. I definitely would return. The beet salad was perfect and the salmon was amazing. Also, the crab cakes were wonderful. Service was perfect and friendly, giving us the time we needed to enjoy our wine prior to ordering our meal. The wines were affordable.
