My husband and I had dinner at the Black Door for our 20th anniversary. It was amazing! The service was great. We started with the Ceasar salad, then the bone in ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, and the brussel sprouts. We split everything and still came home with leftovers. Everything was delicious, but I have to say the ribeye was outstanding! It was pricey, but it was WORTH EVERY PENNY! We will be back.

Great food. I mean really great food. The service was also outstanding. I’ll go ahead and give it a five but I was not a fan of the dark walls and industrial strength fans. The food is really something to behold.

I have been waiting to go since it opened and was not disappointed. We made a reservation as it was for our anniversary but it was not needed at 5 pm. The brewery itself was super busy and parking was very full but the restaurant was not overly busy. We sat right down and we served right away. Our food came out fast and was delicious. The drinks we ordered were strong! I've seen complaints about portion size but I found mine to be perfect! I finished most of my meal but I left stuffed! It was nice to not feel like I paid for way more food than I needed. It's hard to find such a good quality meal within a far radius of this area so I was very impressed. The ambiance was beautiful and we left very happy, it is very clear the Shiner Brewery has hospitality managers that know what they are doing. We will definitely be back!!

I feel we are lucky to have this restaurant in Bastrop County. The food is tantalizing with wonderful options. The salad bar just keeps getting better. The service is commendable. If you haven't been here, you should!

First time taking my 3 year old and experience was great. We ordered food & a game card. My child did not want to sit to eat so we were able to get it in a to go box and walk around with it and play the games. The staff was super understanding, and informative. There are tables at just about every game so you have somewhere to set your stuff down too. This location is clean, the ribs are amazing, and the games are great! 10/10 and my kiddo will probably make us came back again lol
