Having not visited chapter 1 for nearly 6 years we booked for lunch and were very happy with the welcome and the ambience of the restaurant. The lunch menu Hamhock venison and lemon posset were uniformly excellent and the service provided by our waiter with advice on the wine, et cetera was exemplary and greatly added to the enjoyment of our meal. The level of food was exceptional and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended and very good value.

Enjoyed a lovely meal, greeted with a friendly face at the door. Service was good, staff friendly and food was great.

Arrived early and placed at table because it was available. We requested and were left to have a pre-dinner drink in peace. Waitress discretely appeared at table booking time . Food tasted fresh and perfectly prepared. Staff very amiable all the way through. Absolutely nothing to complain about and had a very good weeding anniversary.

I hadn't visited A Mano for some years having moved out of the area, but was craving good Italian food so thought I would revisit. The food remains absolutely first class with good sized portions. The wine was also delicious. If I had any negative points to note they are: The waiting staff who served us were absolutely charming but I don't think English is their first language and it was a bit of a struggle to communicate sometimes. I actually asked for a bottle of wine but was given a glass and when I politely queried it the young lady didn't seem to understand what I meant. A missed "upselling" opportunity. The other thing would be that the seating is a little uncomfortable. I guess this is because A Mano promote themselves as a "cafe/bar" but some more comfy seats or banquette seating would be appreciated if they were thinking of any upgrades in the future. Keep doing what you are doing food wise though A Mano!

Excellent food as always, glad we went on a Thursday as busy but very relaxing
