The patriarch of the Murdaca family, Pietro Murdaca, opened the original location on Cernon Street shortly after immigrating from Southern Italy. In 1985, Pietro and his son Jim came to the valley to open Pietro’s of Lodi. The Murdaca family remains committed to three guiding principles; quality food, customer service, and respect for employees.

Everyone was very attentive and handle everything with care. We dined with a party of 5 and ordered a variety of food selections. Some of our favorites were the mussels, risotto, chicken parm, broiled chicken, and their house bread. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the food selections.
