Came here on a whim after seeing the place on social media and it really doesn't disappoint. On arrival we were greeted by Ellie who looked after us during the course of the meal. She was great, very polite and nothing was too much trouble. The place is a new build which is very clean and spacious with some really cool wall art serving as a reminder to the coal mining industry in the area. Now onto the food, I am a massive fan of BBQ and smoke my own meat and I have to say that the quality was superb! Definitely better than the likes of chain smoke houses like Hickory's. Highly recommended and I will be visiting again for sure

We had a wonderful experience at The Ivy We booked our table at short notice but were made to feel very welcome One member of our party is a wheelchair user and this was easily accommodated without any fuss The food was excellent and the service was first class

Amazing value. Lovely food and fantastic service from a nice team

We were welcomed very warmly by all staff and the locals as well. (All ways a good sign) places our drinks order. We're sow our table out side alfresco just perfect in this heat. We ordered 2 x Monster Mix Grills 1 x mixed Grill and a Fillet Steak and Salad. All cooked perfectly, portions were large. Well presented. And enjoyed by all. Waitresses were fantastic and tentative during our visit. Very please with there fair pricing Highly recommend this hidden little Gem
