The food as always was excellent. There appears to have been a change of menu which I felt didn't have as much that I liked but the Sea Bass was amazing. Ambience was fine as quite early in the evening so quiet but got busier and better

Been to Gibsons twice, both times whilst on a family holiday in successive years. This is a true hidden gem - incredible food, great service, faultless. We first visited in July 2025 and visited again July 2026 in the hopes it would still be as good, and it was even better a year later. Highly recommend this place - great with kids, and dog friendly too. Whole family agree Gibsons serve the best crispy squid any of us have ever had!

I always enjoy eating at Marlings because I love the calm atmosphere at lunchtime, the attractive decor, the outdoor tables and the staff are always helpful. The food varies, but on this occasion it was excellent. Each of us chose a different dish and all were very good. Mine was the fish and chips and the fish was the best I had eaten in years!
