Bastible is located just a short stroll from the landmark St Patricks Cathedral in the vibrant postcode of Dublin 8.
The restaurant overlooks the junction of Clanbrassil Street and South Circular Road in what was once the old Jewish quarter of Portobello.

Chef Killian Walsh leads the kitchen team and creates seasonal tasting menus using his varied and considerable industry experience. Bastible was awarded a coveted Michelin Star in 2022 and proudly retains it today.

Bastible's atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive. There is no required dress code and we pride ourselves on friendly and knowledgable service.

    Excelente experiencia. Una estrella Michelin bien merecida. El servicio ha sido espectacular, la amabilidad del personal ha sido de 10 puntos. La comida excelente, con un buen maridaje si quieres esa opción. Relación calidad/precio para una ciudad como Dublin es muy buena. El restaurante es pequeño y por lo tanto el nivel de ruido a veces se incrementa un poco, haciendo difícil escuchar a los camareros/as cuando presentan un plato o un vino. Una experiencia que sin duda alguna vale la pena.

    Comida original. Espacio de toque informal y con diseño bohemio. Cantidad justa…correcta para los que comen/cenan poco. Precio excesivo para la experiencia. Servicio voluntarioso pero no especialmente profesional. El día anterior habíamos ido a cenar en otro restaurante con una estrella en la misma ciudad y había una gran diferencia (a favor del otro), por un precio similar.

    Aoife and her team are amazing. Very professional and knowledgeable about the food they serve. The dining experience was well paced and every dish was delicious. Special shout out from grace for the crab and from Arthur for the ox tongue. I really enjoyed to cohesive undertone of pickle throughout the night. Aoife helped us pair a wine with our meal and our tastes. The wine, the food, the decor and atmosphere were all top notch, our dining experience was thoroughly enjoyed and we would love to visit again soon! Many thanks for filling our bellies and exciting our tastebuds, unforgettable!

    We had the nine course tasting menu. Highlights were the scallop, cod and desert dishes. No need for the broth (pre main course) and the rather heavy petit four at the end. Salad with the lamb was rather bitter and chewy. Staff terrific , knowledgeable and attentive. Relaxed happy atmosphere Would recommend to friends.
