I realize it was a hockey night ...but people yelling when a goal went in and 3/4 or restaurant was under 19 years old. It did not make for a very relaxing evening. Our waitress was quite good and came back 3x to all if we were ok.

Even though it was cinco de mayo. I knew my food was going to take atleast an hour to get which i didn’t mind. It took over 2 hours and by the time i got My food it was sloppily put together and i had only about 6 small pieces of steak in my burrito. I did feel bad about not trying to get upset at the waitress, she was sweet but everything else was really unacceptable.

lately my last 2 visit to carlos and pepe wasnt good, the food wasnt good as usual and the portion is smaller than before , i usualy take the chicken fajita and lately the chicken is not tasty like before plus it is thin 4 slices of chicken it looks like frozen food.I think that was my last time.

To be fair, we often eat there but this night was way off. Food took forever to arrive and was not good at all. Flautas had a few pieces of chicken bones and cartilage in it. Baja tacos were so bland/ almost flavorless, as if there was no seasoning on the fish. Chips seemed to be from the bottom scraped up because we had more salt than we had chips in our basket. I then made the mistake of ordering takeout for the family members that stayed home and that was a disaster too. They ran out of chicken by then so we could only get cheese enchiladas and they were gross. Steak asada bowl has horrible as the steak was this weird thick hunk of meat that you could barely cut into. All in all, a disastrous meal both dine-in and my take-out. What a waste of $150 since everyone hated their food and didn't eat it all. Not to mention we sat with empty water glasses most of the night. You might want to look at the staff you had working Sunday evening (Feb 22nd) because if that had been my first time I would never go back based on that experience. I feel royally ripped off as someone who's family frequents this restaurant often. What a mess.
