No.27 Bar is decorated richly, in keeping with the heritage of this great hotel and our guests can relax and savour the specially commissioned artwork of Victor Richardson echoing the views outside. I enjoy the Shelbourne Bar. The staff are alright but not exceptional which I really would expect. However a good experience & my pal enjoyed it too

Overall had higher expectations from this restaurant as interiors can be in better colors selection: grey walls make surrounding feels depressive. The food was quite average: tomato basil soup of the day as from any food store , fish and chips is also typical although had grilled fish that was nice and rightly soft.

On Friday, we experienced the worst service we have ever had in a 5 star hotel during a Lunch Sitting! The Food was also only mediocre at best! Inexperienced, uninterested staff and management only appeared occasionally and did not seem too bothered! Disorganised Chaos and we will not be back!! I was treating my guests and we were all residents in the hotel and it was absolutely abysmal and so disappointing!!!

So disappointing Overpriced food that could not have been cultivated by a chef...mediocre flavour...the mashed potato was the best thing we had. Staff were lovely. Not a 5 star experience Really not worth it.

I love meeting up in the Shelbourne bar - great ambiance! One pet peeve - please don’t remove plates until both people are finished! A basic I would have thought!
