I hosted my 40th birthday party for 36 guests at Rider. The experience was exactly what I had hoped for, and my friends can't stop raving about the party! Patrick (owner) and Will (manager) were super responsive and attentive to my requests, but also very down to earth, personable and really easy and pleasant to work with. I picked Rider as a venue because I wanted a private space at a reasonable price. The upstairs room was the perfect size for my party and has a nice wall-length window. (So many party rooms are in the back of the restaurant and don't have any natural light.) Rider easily accommodated my request to play my play list (there is a dedicated speaker system for the upstairs room) and even procured a projector so I could project a slideshow on the wall. This worked out perfectly. More importantly, the food (10 different passed hors d'oeuvres) and drinks were delicious, abundant and at a reasonable price point. I asked that wine and cocktails be available to guests upon arrival, and Will made this happen exactly as I requested. I was a little nervous committing to host a party at a restaurant I didn't know well, but the experience exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Rider for a private party and look forward to returning for a sit-down meal.

The Food at Rider was amazing and they gave us free donuts to celebrate a birthday!!! But it was a little pricey.

I've been a long-time fan of Rider's dinner menu, but was happily surprised for my first Brunch experience - it surpassed any Brunch I've had recently - creative, delicious fare that had us nearly licking our plates. Will be back soon. :)

Decent brunch but so so loud inside, would love if they invested in some noise proofing, it was really hard to hear a normal level conversation.

Phenomenal food and service as usual. Excellent restaurant. The chicken sandwich is out of control. And the staff is wonderful.

Mediocre. Spotty service and very inconsistent food quality. Melon was not fully peeled in the melon/cucumber salad. Not busy and food was slow coming out. Only good thing is location next to National Sawdust but better restaurant options in the neighborhood. Would not eat there again before or after a performance.

The food was excellent. It’s a very relaxed spot with good drinks and good food. The wait staff is super attentive and really nice. I would highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich and the Sexy Burt Reynolds drink. Very well priced as well.
