Star Rover Sound is throwing it back to the great American steakhouse, an institution that transcends time and trend. Steak Dinners at Star Rover will offer the complete experience – cut in-house steaks paired with crisp salads and crisper cocktails, bottomless triple-cooked fries and onion rings, fresh-baked dinner rolls, live music, and good times.

Just like the 1970s West Texas steakhouses that Chef/Owner Ford Fry so fondly remembers, guests will be reintroduced to an era when steak dinners weren’t just for special occasions but were an everyday luxury – complete with checkered tablecloths, a candlelit glow, and Sharpies for signing the walls.

Absolutely incredible food and experience. I do wish the music was turned down; my ears were ringing and it was difficult to talk with those at your table.

The ribeye was very tough and grisly, I had it prepared medium rare and it did not help. The CFC had good flavor but had way too much breading and gravy

Had the most AMAZING time here and can’t wait to go back asap. First, the live music here is fantastic! Second, the drinks are great and incredibly priced - so reasonable and affordable. And the food is fantastic, you can get anything from filet and ribeye steak to grilled chicken, country fried chicken, or a burger! And the best part is that every meal comes with rolls, a classic salad, and bottomless French fries and onion rings for the table. And don’t skip the classic soft served ice cream with chocolate chess pie for dessert.

Local here and our first time at Star Rover ! Excellent service, food was superb - except for the overly greasy fries and the band was superb, Nic Roulette and the Ricochets! Overall nice first time experience !

We arrived to a blue grass band playing remarkably well and even though sitting up front, the sound was easy enough on the ears to enjoy company. The food is complemented by a single type of salad. Its a take it or leave it thing with house dressing on a plate too small for the serving. It is a mix of iceberg lettuce and other salad additions and of all things BLUE CHEESE crumbles. If not your thing tell them! It also comes with bottomless onion rings that were prepared perfectly. The fries were good, just a bit too greasy for my taste. "BOTTOMLESS" didn't really apply. Our plate of rings and fries was empty fast and never refilled. Note to you: ASK! It pays to be vocal. I ordered the ribeye medium rare. It came medium. While disappointing, it was still very good.

Incredible Place and the food WAS DELICIOUS! I recommend Star Rover Sound to everyone! They have live music, but we were done before they started.
