Our visit to the Tartan Fox did not disappoint! The relaxed and friendly atmosphere created by the wonderful waiting team made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable. As an avid follower of Adam’s work the food lived up to our high expectations. We started with the Haggis scotch egg made using the hens eggs from their own Chicken coop and home made brown sauce was phenomenal and we could have eaten that on its own. To follow we enjoyed the crab macaroni and smash burger which were incredible and like nothing we had tasted before. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and will be returning again for a second visit very soon!!

Always good reliable food and a relaxed atmosphere with lovely views

We had a fabulous meal! The service we received was brilliant and the staff went the extra mile without us even asking! The food was delicious too! We went as a family with a baby and a young child and would definitely return!

Genuinely some of the best food I’ve had in ages—it completely blew me away. The kitchen has a massive focus on incredible local ingredients and fresh seafood, and it shows in every dish. The flavours were perfectly balanced and everything felt sophisticated without being pretentious. Unbelievably good.

Fabulous food and service, as always. We especially loved the scallops, steak, and desserts.
